About the Role

Overview:
ProxyLink is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Manager to join a reputable client located in Mississauga. This role involves driving and executing all aspects of human resources within the organization. The successful candidate will collaborate with top management to shape the company’s HR strategy, nurture a highly engaged workforce, and sustain the company’s growth and success. This position also includes providing guidance to two direct reports.

Compensation:
$95,000.00 - $105,000.00/Yearly

Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition and Recruitment: Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, attract top talent through innovative sourcing strategies, conduct interviews, and ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
Employee Relations and Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by proactively addressing employee concerns, managing conflicts, and implementing initiatives to boost employee morale and engagement.
Performance Management: Oversee the performance appraisal process, collaborate with managers to set performance goals, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development.
Training and Development: Identify training needs, design, and organize development programs, workshops, and seminars to empower employees to reach their full potential.
Compensation and Benefits: Administer and enhance competitive compensation and benefits packages, ensuring alignment with industry standards and rewarding employees for exceptional contributions.
Policy Development and Compliance: Create and implement HR policies, procedures, and practices, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Safety and Wellness: Champion employee health and safety initiatives, creating a safe working environment that promotes employee well-being.
HR Metrics and Analytics: Utilize data-driven insights to measure HR effectiveness, track key performance indicators, and provide valuable reports to the management team.
Culture Building: Promote company values and culture, working collaboratively with all departments to reinforce a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Special Projects: Handle special projects or ad hoc tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
8+ years of proven experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a managerial role overseeing 2-4 direct reports.
CHRP/CHRL designation is a strong asset.
In-depth knowledge of HR/Employee Relations best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
Experience managing end-to-end recruitment activities for Ontario.
Experience providing support to multiple job sites is an asset.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to HR challenges.
Willingness to occasionally travel to Montreal and other job site locations as needed.
