About the Role

Overview:
ProxyLink is currently hiring a dedicated and experienced full-time Warehouse Supervisor for our client in Guelph, ON, specializing in supply chain management and logistics solutions. In this role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of products. We are looking for a hands-on leader with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.

Responsibilities:
Manage all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, inventory control, and shipping of products.
Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency with customer satisfaction as the primary goal by supervising, organizing, and training warehouse employees, and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals.
Develop and implement warehouse operations systems and processes to optimize productivity and performance.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
Oversee inventory management and conduct regular physical inventory checks.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
Implement cost reduction principles in all aspects of warehouse transactions and activities.
Monitor and manage warehouse staff performance, providing training and development as needed.
Prepare and manage the warehouse budget, ensuring cost-efficiency.
Stay updated with the latest developments in warehouse management and logistics.

Requirements:
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in warehouse management or a related role.
Proven experience managing warehouse operations and leading a team.
Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to analyze data and provide insights for operational improvements.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse management.
